Accommodation Terms
― Terms and Conditions for Comprehensive Services Including Accommodation ―
“Comprehensive Services Including Accommodation” include the following: accommodation (one night), Japanese cooking lesson, matcha workshop, calligraphy workshop, and other Plus services (rice ball lesson, kimono rental, Japanese sake lecture). Hereafter, “Comprehensive Services Including Accommodation” will be referred to as “Comprehensive Services.” Those who apply for “Comprehensive Services Including Accommodation” will be referred to as “Guests.” “Hanyu.no.obasanchi” will be referred to as “the Facility.”
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- Accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded between the Facility and Guests shall be governed by the provisions of these Terms and Conditions. For matters not stipulated in these Terms, applicable laws or generally established practices shall apply.
- If the Facility agrees to special provisions within the scope of not violating laws or customs, such special provisions shall take precedence over the previous paragraph.
Article 2 (Application for Comprehensive Service Contract)
- Those who wish to apply for a Comprehensive Service Contract with the Facility must provide the following information:
- Names, ages, nationalities, languages, and genders of all guests, including the representative
- Address, email address, and mobile phone number of the representative
- Desired pricing plan
- Check-in date (Since accommodation is limited to one night only, the check-out date will automatically be the following day)
- Other details deemed necessary by the Facility
- It is considered agreed at the time of reservation that accommodation included in the Comprehensive Service is limited to one night only and that consecutive stays are not allowed.
Article 3 (Establishment of Comprehensive Service Contract)
- The Comprehensive Service Contract shall be established when the Facility accepts the application from the previous article, the applicant pays the total amount for the desired plan as a deposit in advance, and the Facility confirms receipt of the payment. However, this shall not apply if the Facility can prove that it did not accept the application.
- The deposit shall first be applied to the total Comprehensive Service fee to be paid by the guest. In the event that the provisions of Articles 5 and 14 apply, the deposit will be applied in the following order: first to penalties, then to compensation, and any remaining amount will be refunded at the time of payment under the provisions of Article 9. Various fees shall be borne by the guest.
Article 4 (Refusal to Conclude Comprehensive Service Contract by the Facility)
The Facility is limited to serving only one group per day. The Facility may refuse to conclude a Comprehensive Service Contract under the following circumstances
- When the application for the Comprehensive Service does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- When the desired date of application has already been reserved by another guest in advance.
- When the person intending to use the Comprehensive Service is deemed likely to engage in activities that violate laws, public order, or morals regarding the services, including accommodation.
- When it is evident that the person intending to use the Comprehensive Service is suffering from an infectious disease.
- When the person has made violent demands or requests beyond reasonable bounds to the Facility or Facility staff, or is found to have engaged in such actions in the past.
- When it is determined that the Facility cannot provide the Comprehensive Service to the guest due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable reasons.
- When the person intending to use the Comprehensive Service is deemed likely to cause significant inconvenience to the Facility, Facility staff, or neighboring residents due to drunkenness or other behavior. Also, when the person intending to stay is found to be a member of an organized crime group as defined in Article 2, Item 6 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991), or related to companies, organizations, or other antisocial forces as defined in Item 2 of the same law.
- When dangerous items (e.g., stoves, petroleum-based substances) or substances harmful to the human body are brought in.
- When the person intending to use the Comprehensive Service is a minor and unaccompanied by an adult.
Article 5 (Cancellation of Comprehensive Service Contract by the Guest)
When the applicant for the Comprehensive Service reservation cancels all or part of the reservation, the following cancellation fees will apply.
- If the cancellation is made 7 days or more before the service date, the cancellation fee will be 100% of the reserved plan fee if it is made up to 8 days before the reservation, the cancellation fee will be 50% and if the cancellation is made after the reservation is complete, the cancellation fee will be 30%.
- If the guest fails to contact us and the reservation is considered cancelled after 17:00 (the start time of the Japanese cuisine lesson on the reservation date), we may consider the reservation as cancelled by the guest and charge 100% of the reserved plan fee.
- No refund will be provided for partial lessons, lectures, or workshops that the guest was unable to attend due to a late arrival. Please refer to Reference 1: Time Schedule for more information.
- In cases of cancellations due to major natural disasters or epidemics (pandemics) that make international news, the cancellation fee will be waived as a special exception.
- If a reservation is considered cancelled under the previous two provisions and the guest fails to show up without notice, we may waive the cancellation fee if the guest provides proof of delays or cancellations by public transport (train, airplane, etc.), or other reasons not attributable to the guest. ※Cancellation fee: The percentage refers to the ratio of the cancellation fee to the reserved plan fee. ・No notice on the service date 100% ・Cancellation up to 7 days before the service date 100% ・Cancellation up to 8 days before the service date 50% ・After reservation completion 30%
Article 6 (Right of the Facility to Cancel the Contract)
The facility reserves the right to cancel the Comprehensive Service Contract under the following circumstances.
- If it is recognized that the guest may, or has, engaged in acts that violate laws, public order, or good morals in connection with the Comprehensive Service, including accommodations.
- If the guest is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.
- If the guest makes violent demands or unreasonable requests that exceed reasonable bounds on the facility or its personnel, or if the guest has previously committed such acts.
- If the Comprehensive Service cannot be continued due to force majeure, such as natural disasters.
- If it is recognized that the guest may cause significant inconvenience to the facility or its surroundings due to intoxication or other reasons prior to receiving the Comprehensive Service.
- If the guest is recognized as being a member of an organized crime group as defined in the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991), Article 2, Paragraph 6, or as being related to a company or organization associated with such groups as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the same law.
- If the guest engages in smoking in non-smoking areas, tampers with fire-fighting equipment, or violates other prohibited matters specified in the facility’s rules of use, including within guest rooms.
- If the guest fails to provide the information required under Articles 7, Paragraphs 1 and 2.
Article 7 (Registration for Comprehensive Services, Including Accommodation)
- On the day of use, guests are required to register the following information at check-in.
- Name, age, gender, address, and occupation of the guest
- For foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, port of entry, and date of entry into Japan
- Any other information deemed necessary by the facility
- For foreign nationals without a residential address in Japan, guests are required to present their passport, which will be copied or recorded.
Article 8 (Usage Time of the Facility and Equipment)
- Guests may use their accommodation room from 2:15 PM at check-in until 10:00 AM at check-out.
- Outside of the time period between check-in and check-out, guests may not use the accommodation room, the facility, or its equipment.
- The facility’s curfew is at 10:00 PM.
- The kitchen and living room close at 10:30 PM.
- Please finish using the bath, washing machine, and dryer by 11:00 PM.
- The start times for each lesson and lecture are as stated in the schedule. ※Please refer to Reference Material 1. Schedule at the end of the “Terms and Conditions for Comprehensive Services Including Accommodation”.
Article 9 (Payment of Fees)
- Payments for “Comprehensive Services Including Accommodation” must be made via advance payment at the time of booking.
- On the day of use, additional fees for beverages or merchandise must be paid by card. For cash payments, only Japanese yen is accepted. Foreign currency is not accepted.
- Even if guests voluntarily decide not to use any part of the Comprehensive Services before or after check-in, the deposit paid in advance will not be refunded. Please also review the Cancellation Policy.
Article 10 (Compliance with Terms of Use)
Guests are required to comply with the Terms of Use established by our facility when using it. Please read the Terms of Use carefully. A printed copy of the rules is also available in the guest room.
Article 11 (Refusal to Continue Comprehensive Service Use)
Even during the agreed period for the comprehensive service, our facility reserves the right to refuse the continuation of service use in the following cases.
- When the conditions specified in Article 6 apply.
- When the Terms of Use specified in Article 10 are not followed.
Article 12 (Refusal of Consecutive Stays for Accommodation within the Comprehensive Service)
The accommodation included in the comprehensive service is limited to a one-night stay. Consecutive stays are not permitted.
Article 13 (Responsibility of the Facility)
- The facility shall compensate for damages caused to the guest in the performance or non-performance of the comprehensive service contract or related contracts, provided that such damages are proven to be attributable to the facility.
- To address the damages mentioned in Item 1, the facility is covered by a vacation rental liability insurance policy. However, if the damages fall under the exemptions stipulated in the insurance contract, compensation may not be provided to the guest.
- The facility’s responsibility begins when the guest registers for the comprehensive service, including accommodation, or when the guest enters the facility, whichever comes first, and ends when the guest departs from the facility.
- If the facility is unable to provide the comprehensive service, including accommodation, due to reasons attributable to the facility, except in cases of natural disasters or other unavoidable circumstances, the full reservation fee will be refunded to the guest. If alternative accommodation is urgently required, the facility will assist in searching for and guiding the guest to accommodation within the same city or nearby municipalities. However, the cost of the alternative accommodation is not subject to compensation.
Article 14 (Responsibility of the Guest)
If the facility suffers damages due to the intentional or negligent actions of the guest, the guest shall compensate the facility for those damages.
Article 15 (Handling of Deposited Items)
- The facility does not handle deposited items.
- The facility shall not be held liable for loss, damage, or destruction of any items, cash, or valuables brought into the facility by the guest, unless such damages are caused by the facility’s intentional or gross negligence.
Article 16 (Storage of Luggage and Personal Belongings)
- The facility does not accept or store any luggage or items prior to the day of use. If any items are sent in disregard of this, the facility will not assume any responsibility for receiving or storing them.
- If luggage or personal belongings (including items in the safe) are left behind by the guest after check-out, the facility will contact the owner based on its discretion and seek instructions once the owner is identified. However, if the owner’s instructions are not received or the owner cannot be identified, the items will be stored for 30 days, starting from the date of discovery, after which valuables will be handed over to the nearest police station, and other items will be discarded.
- To prevent the occurrence of the situation mentioned in the previous paragraph, the facility will conduct a check for forgotten items and inspect the condition of areas such as the guest room, safety box, bathroom, toilet, kitchen, and living room together with the guest before check-out.
Article 17 (Responsibility for Parking)
If the guest uses the parking space at the facility, they are responsible for keeping their vehicle key. The facility will not accept the deposit of vehicle keys. Additionally, the facility is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. The parking space is available for one vehicle only.
Article 18 (Governing Language)
These terms and conditions are written in Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese, and Indonesian. However, in case of any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the various languages, the Japanese version shall prevail in all respects.
Article 19 (Use of Internet Communication)
- The use of internet communication within the facility is the responsibility of the user. The facility will not be held liable for any interruption of service due to system failures or other reasons, nor for any damages incurred by the user as a result.
- If any action taken during the use of internet communication is deemed inappropriate by the facility, and if such action is expected to cause damage to the facility or third parties, the facility will charge the user for the equivalent amount of the damages incurred.
Article 20 (Changes to these Terms)
For matters not specified in this agreement and when deemed necessary for the operation of the facility, the facility may change the content of these terms without prior notice.
Article 21 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
Any disputes arising from the contract under these terms or related contracts will be resolved exclusively by the courts with jurisdiction over the location of the facility, in accordance with Japanese law.

- 9:30 Departure preparation Check for forgotten items and room inspection with Hanyu’s Aunt
- 10:00 Check-out and transfer to Hanyu Station
